----* the summer is fast approaching with only a few weeks of classes left. for many, it's not only the school year that's coming to an end. for some, they're now preparing to head off to university and college in the fall - even if that means that they need to leave someone they love behind. for others, they're just relieved to be getting out of class for a few months before they have to go back to high school in september. it's not all about the teenagers here though, the residents of santa monica are bound to be facing life changing or heart breaking decisions during these few months.
----* summer vaction lasts approximately three months. it's a short amount of time, but don't doubt that a lot can happen. hearts - well, they will be broken, or maybe they'll be mended. friendships may end up shattered and a once happy family could find the walls crashing down all around them with nothing they can do to stop it. on the other hand, friendships and new families may be formed. some people will try to stay on the sidelines and watch the craziness of the people in the city - but even they're bound to be thrown into this crazy web as well.
----* by the end of the summer, you have to know that a lot will have changed. it may have been a good change and you may find yourself being one of the lucky people saying "since that summer, my life had changed for the better." or you might be one of the un lucky ones saying "since that summer, she's been gone." fate isn't something you can control, some things happen for a reason, things that you can't change. but it is in your power to whether or not you have a moment of joy or regrets and thoughts of what could have been when you look back and say - since that summer.
