-------- the girl shut the laptop and pushed away from the computer desk , standing up. she let out a loud sigh and bent over greer's crib. the baby cooed at and kicked his little chubby legs. she giggled and picked up the baby , cradling him in her arms. greer cried out and she set him back down for his afternoon nap. it was unbelievable how fast nine months had gone by for her. just a year and a half ago , she found out she was pregnant and left town. in fact , fawn hadn't told anyone she was pregnant. she kept that little surprise to herself. she just left and went back home. her mother and father were surprised that the twenty year old ended up pregnant. fawn pretended it was a boyfriends baby that dumped her after he found out but truth be told , she had no idea who the father of greer was. all she could remember was that it was something with a club on her twenty first birthday. she had just turned twenty one and went out a with a few friends and ended up going home with some guy. fawn didn't get his number , didn't get a name , didn't get anything but sex. she left that morning and went home and pretended like everything was fine.[/b] done.
-------- the day she found out she was pregnant was strange. she threw up a couple times and just associated it with the flu or some stomach thing. fawn felt woozy a few times through out the day and decided to take a pregnancy test as a joke. she made a trip to the drug store and picked up a pregnancy test. fawn hurriedly went home and peed on that little stick , getting a little laugh out of it. when the words pregnant popped up on that LD screen , she screamed and dropped the stick in the toilet. she covered her eyes for two minutes and finally opened them and peered into the toilet , hoping to see the words not pregnant magically appear on the screen. nothing happened. the same words , pregnant loomed back at her. fawn let out a shaky sigh and stepped back , running a hand through her hair thinking about her options. she finally decided to go home and stay with her parents. fawn packed her bags and left , not telling anyone and just changing her number and everything. when she arrived home and told her parents , her mother cried and her father hugged her.
-------- the nine months she was pregnant were the hardest for her but she didn't complain. even though she got fatter , her ankles swelled up and all that , she still felt happy. fawn found out it was a boy and she already had the name picked out. greer benjamin rhodes. she thought that was just about the prettiest name ever for a boy. the night her water broke , she was scared. it was her first time giving birth to anything but after everything , she made it through alright. the first time she held her son , she immediately felt that connection. her mother and father helped her for the first three months and she decided to return to santa monica. everyone was surprised to see her and she was happy to be back. of course , everyone was shell shocked she came back with a baby. but she accepted the fact that she was a mom now and she didn't mind. but the weirdest thing of all that creeped her out was when a random guy named brody im'ed her and told her that he was the father of her son. she didn't believe him at first but eventually was convinced. fawn had invited him over to come meet his son and he agreed. she was nervouse as she got ready , thinking he was some creepy guy that would come and murder her and greer. but he seemed like a decent guy and not to mention he was adorable.
-------- she finished getting ready and got greer ready , picking out a little outfit she got when she first had him. it was this little once piece with a fish on it and it was a light blue color. the shoes had race cars on them and she thought it was cute to mix and match. greer of course didn't mind and she ran a hand through his black , touching his face. fawn cooed at him , rubbing his plump tummy happily. he gave a giggle and she picked him , grabbing the bottle and pacifier. she took him into the living room and put him in his high chair , giving him the bottle and putting the pacifier on the little platter. greer grabbed the bottle and put it to his lips. she smiled at him and he drank the milk as she turned around and cleaned up , at least trying to make her apartment presentable. truth be told , she didn't have much time to clean up. she was always busy with work and greer that she wasn't much of a housekeeper.
-------- greer cried out after he finished his milk and fawn happily gave him some more after finishing cleaning up. she picked him up and put the high chair away , placing him in his little swing and sitting on the couch. the girl let out a sigh and waited for brody to arrive. butterflies danced in her stomach. it wasn't normal for a mother to be meeting the father of her child for the first time. she kind of wondered how it would be if brody had actually been there. him holding her hand through the pregnancy , him getting her food and whatnot. it was startling , thinking that she was just not meeting the father of her child.
