the citizens of santa monica. they make up a large part of the population here. they're the people who came from the average families, the elite families or famous ones. they may have made it big here, or they may still be carrying the average middle class status they've always had. they may have attended high school and dropped out or made it through to university and are now out into the real world.
these are the young adults who have graduated from high school and are now going on to complete university. some of the citizens who went in here as average, may come out more than that as a doctor, or maybe they made it big in a sport, who knows.
these are the people who went through the phases - high school, university and now have themselves a job at the university themselves. these are the professors, the coaches - the faculty of the california universities.
these kids have not dropped out of high school, but are still not going off to university. the age group of these kids is seventeen - nineteen. maybe they don't need university, or just don't feel like going. whatever the case, at least they've got their high school diploma !
auburn high, considered one of the best high schools in california and located right here in santa monica. the kids in this group are the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors of auburn high.
similar to the university faculty - these are the people who went through the phases - high school, university and now have themselves a job at auburn high. these are the teachers, the coaches - the faculty of auburn high.
these people don't live in santa monica, but maybe they used to! or maybe they have family here. they may have been coming here their whole life for vacations, or maybe they've newly discovered their love for this place. whatever the reason, these people are only in santa monica a few months or weeks of the year - these are the tourists.
